- Summary:
-
"Jim and Ined Humphries talk with a group of workers who are planning to remove the rubble and destroyed property. He and his wife Ined now live in a temporary home, a leaking caravan they have had to attach trampoline over to protect them from the rain. Jim and Ined Humphries lost their home in a house fire a few years back and then lost their replacement home in the recent New Years Eve bushfires that struck Cobargo. The Couple are in their 70s and are in very poor health, Jim has terminal cancer and should be in hospital but they prefer living on their property in the bush. The couple are still waiting for work to commence to clean up the destroyed house and other property. They would later find out that their property has several areas of containing asbestos and they should not be living on site. Cobargo, NSW, Monday the 4th May, 2020."--Information supplied by photographer.
