Yah Yah is an ongoing creative project that explores photographer Anna Zhu’s Chinese-Australian heritage, focusing on the lives of her grandfather Yah Yah and grandmother Ah Na, who migrated to Australia in 1998. Zhu captures her grandparent’s relationship in a domestic setting, their reliance on each other, as well as a sense of their isolation in their new country.
