Andrew Clark, born 1948 in Melbourne, is the middle child of historian Manning Clark and his wife, translater Dymphna Clark. Educated in Canberra and Melbourne, Andrew became a noted journalist and social commentator. He has worked for The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, the Melbourne Herald, The National Times, The Australian Financial Review, The Sun-Herald, The Bulletin, Australian Business, and Nation. His work has also appeared in many other publications, both in Australia and internationally. With CJ Lloyd, Clark published Kerr's King Hit (1976) on the 1975 sacking of the Whitlam Labor government, and has contributed to several other books.
