The album contains material relating to Donald McMurdo's 13 years as House Photographer with the Sydney Opera House, between 1977 to 1990. Included within the album are correspondence for photographic orders and institutions; invitations; prizes; newspaper clippings; tributes; promotional material for the Sydney Opera House; and his photograph 'The Courtship' which won first prize at the Royal Easter Show in 1981.
