- "The women are wearing typical wrap-around skirts. The upper edge is tucked down, forming a pocket used to store personal belongings. The little girl is wearing an ornament made from pieces of mother of pearl pendants attached to rattan (stripped cane) necklace. This ornament is similar to the "pangalapang" used by the Ifugao of Mayaoyao, however, the Silipanes version has smaller pendants"--File NLA/16269.
