- See The Holy City, 1949. "From the Hill of Evil Counsel the panorama looks across the infamous valley of Hinnom to the southern wall of the Haram esh Sharif, enclosing the Mosque el Aksa and the Dome of the Rock. In this valley King Josiah threw down the altars erected to Moloch, the god of the Ammonites, to whom innocent children were offered as holocausts. Here also is the Potter's field, which was bought by the chief priests with the thirty pieces of silver, the price of Judas's betrayal. 'Wherefore that field was called the field of blood (Haceldama) unto this day'".
