authenticated by the name and address of the
sender, and are inserted at a charge of Two

BIRTHS.
WIESE.-On the 31st January, at Hahndorf, the
wife of Wilhelm Wiese, of a son.
LAFFER.-On the 4th February, at the Rose-
worthy Agricultural College, to Mr. and Mrs. H.
E. Laffer-a son.
MARRIAGES.
GIBBISON-GIBBISON.-On the 4th February, at
the residence of the bride's parents, by the Rev.
F. Webb, Edward Ralph Gibbison, of Mile-End,
son of James Gibbison, of Adelaide, to Jane,
daughter of Henry Courtney Gibbison, of Adelaide.
BECKER-BEATTON.-On the 4th January, at
St. Augustine's' Church, Port Augusta, by the
Rev. S. T. C. Best, Frederick Emanuel, eldest son
of the late F. E. Becker (Northern Territory and
Port Augusta), to Mary St. Clair, fourth daughter
of Mr. James Beatton, post and telegraph master,
Port Augusta.
WIESE-BENNETT.-On the 25th June, 1904, at
Holy Trinity Church, Adelaide, by the Rev. F.
Webb, Herbert Norman, eldest son of Wilhelm
Wiese, to Daisy Maude, eldest daughter of Frede-
rick George Bennett, all of Hahndorf.
HARRIS-FINCH.-On the 2nd February, at St.
Paul's Church, Port Pirie, by Rev. Archdeacon
Samwell, Richard, third son of the late Richard
Harris, of Cradock, to Grace Martha, third daugh-
ter of the late William Robert Finch, late of
Clare and Laura.
ALMOND-DEW.-On the 27th December, 1904,
at the residence of the bride's parents, by the Rev.
I. Perry, Horace Charles, second son of C. H. Al-
mond, to Ida Grace, fourth daughter of the late
J. Dew, Alberton.
DEATHS.
GIBBISON.—On the 8th February, at Gladstone-
road, Mile-End, Edward Ralph, dearly beloved
husband of Jane Gibbison, in his 35th year.
MEYERS.-On the 22nd January, at Fremantle,
W.A., Ernest Ralph Meyers, dentist, son of the
late Solomon Meyers, dentist North-terrace, aged
37, leaving a wife and two sons. Rest his soul
in peace. Brisbane papers please copy.
GROVES.-On the 7th February, Hannah, the
relict of the late Thomas Groves, of Langham,
in Essex, England, in her 91st year.
MORGAN.-On the 7th February, at Unley Pri-
vate Hospital, of inflammation of the brain, Jessie
Jean, only daughter of Sydney and Jean Morgan,
of Geelong, Victoria, late of Glenelg, South Aus-
tralia, aged 20 years. "Blessed are the pure in
heart, for they shall see God."
HARDWICK.-On the 27th January, at Wallaroo
Hospital, Edith Elsie Ann, youngest daughter of
F. B. and the late J. W. Hardwick, late of Mile-
End S.A. Present address, 216, Jeffcott-street,
N.A.
BARNET.—On the 4th February, at the resi-
dence of Mrs. Emma R. Coon, Wattle Grove Farm,
Terowie, Ebenezer A. Barnet, aged 65 years.
GROSSMANN.—On the 2nd February, at
Greenock, Carl, the beloved husband of Johana
Louise Grossmann, aged 67 years, leaving a widow,
3 sons, 4 daughters, and 17 grandchildren. A
colonist of 63 years.
IN MEMORIAM.
ANDERSON.—In loving memory of Abba Ruth
Anderson, who died February 8, 1904, at Grange-
ville, aged 10 years.
Short was her call, sweet be her sleep;
May angels around her in silent watch keep.

FOREMAN.-In loving memory of Elizabeth
Foreman, who died at Southwark, February 8, 1901.
We would not recall her, though our hearts may be
weary.
With longing to hear her loved footsteps again;

HUTCHINSON.-In loving memory of our dear
father Frederick James, who died of epileptic
fits, caused by an accident, February 8, 1902.
