BRIDGEMAN (nee Lila Williamson).—On
April 26, at Nurse James's Hospital, Gerald-

DE BONANATE.—On May 6, at the King
Edward Maternity Hospital, to the wife of
his Royal Highness the Marquis Bonanate
D'Acaie, of the Duchy of Piayenzei and
Venice—a daughter (Mafalda Yolanda Gio-
vanna Margherita). Both well. Eastern

MOUNTAIN (nee Amy Baker).—On April
24, at Hillcrest Hospital, North Fremantle, to
Mr. and Mrs. S. Mountain, 23 Charles-street,
South Fremantle—a daughter.
RUTHERFORD.—On May 4, at Delhi In-
dia, to Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Rutherford—a son.

TAYLOR.—On April 22, at Nurse McDon-
nell's Private Hospital, Beverley, to Mr.
and Mrs. A. H. Taylor, of Quairading—a
daughter (Joy Margaret). Both well.
DEATHS.
BELL.—On March 13th, 1923, at 39 Dals-
ton-road, Carlisle, England, Isabella, the
dearly beloved wife of Captain I. Bell, for
many years captain in the Singapore Steam-
ship Service, and then resident at 146 Mary
street, Fremantle.
CRAIG.—On May 6, 1923, at the resi-
dence of his son, Mr. J. P.Craig, 117 King-
street, East Fremantle, John Craig (late
Crimean veteran), in his 92nd year.
GORDON.—On April 23, 1923, at his resi-
dence, West Pingelly, Charles Collie, the be-
loved husband of Mary Jane Gordon, and
loving father of Mrs. P. J. Hughes (New
Zealand), Mrs. G. E. Lange (Pepsayinning),
Charles Gordon (Beverly), Ronald, Ethel,
Francie, Alice, and Alex. Gordon (Pingelly) ;
also loving grandfather of Stanley and Vio-
let Lange, and Ronnie Hughes; aged 58
years. At rest.
JELLINGS.—On May 6, 1923, at her resi-
dence, 324 Stirling-Street, Perth, Bertha
May, the beloved wife of Sydney B. Jellings,
devoted mother of Elizabeth Routley, loving
daughter of Henry Bennetts and fond
sister of Albert, Harry, Evelyn, Elsie, and
the late Leslie Bennetts, aged 38 years.
SCOTT.—On May 6, 1923, at her late re-
sidence, 44 Parry-street, Fremantle, Caroline,
relict of Daniel Henry Scott, formerly of
Geraldton, eldest daughter of the late Lionel
and Fanny Samson of Fremantle, and sister
of Mrs. Henry Oakes, of Adelaide, S.A.
aged 77 years.
SUNMAN.—On May 6, 1923, at Freman-
tle, Elvie Maud, the dearly beloved only
daughter of Hillary Robert and Jessie Maud
Sunman, of the Harbour Trust Quarters,
Fremantle, and sister of Hillary, aged 16
years.
TYLER.—On May 5, 1923, at 43 Sum-
mers-street, East Perth, George (late of
Eaglehawk and Boulder), beloved husband
of Elizabeth, and father of Len, Mary, Nellie,
Albert, Ern., Wal., and Essie (daughter-in-
law).

Gunner Alfred E. Benson, 8th Battery, who
was killed at Gabe Tepe May 7, 1915.

2nd of 11th Machine Gun Company, A.I.F.,
