CLUB ACTIVITIES
Harley Davidson
The Bucks' run to Wood's Point was he'.d
last week-end, and members had a most en
joyable time. On Saturday evening mem
bers attended the local dance, and on Sun
day swimming, aquaplaning, hydroplaning.
and a long trip down the river. Members
thank Mr. Bailey for the excellent outing:.
—On Sunday a crtcket match against the
'Kilronan' team. Those grounds are situ
ated near the corner ot the Bay and
Cross roads. Plympton. nan been arranged.

Hotel. Bay-road, at 9.30 a.m. Tbe match

One of the most enjoyable outings yet
held was Atujara's run to Moana last Sun
day. Swimming and games ended up at
7.45 P4n., with a pleasant ride home.— Next
Sunday morning a Tp»*ch has been
arranged with the Richmond Junior Club
on their. grounds. West Parklands. Mem
bers will assemble at Bubbard Motors at
9.45. In the afterncon the club will amuse
Itself picking blackberries In the nils. The
destination will be decided before leaving.

M.O.C., and was a eueceat. This club
was not represented as It should hare been,

Osmond M.C.C. and Douglas M.C.C. was
won by tbe former. The Ladles' M.C.C. Is
to be congratulated on tbe day.— The an
nual meeting was held last Monday even

wag admitted. The balance-sheet showed
a surplus on tbe am year's work. TWa
Is considered satisfactory. It was decided
to cut the yearly members' subscriptions.
This was considered necessary to meet
other reductions suffered by members.

Coming Events. — To-night — General
meeting. February 22— Run to Barossa.—
Sundays run will be made to Barossa,
where sporting events will he held, and
lunch will be provided by the club. All
members Intending to go on the run are
asked to be early, so that a start may
be made at 10 o'clock.— The dub held a
successful social on Thursday evening.

—Committee meeting. — On Sunday mem
bers spent the day at Belalr with the
ladles' club, on Ite opening run. Various
sports were held.— Last Wednesday a visit
was made to the Telephone Exchange.— On
February 23 a. dance conducted by the club
?will again be held mt Bridgewater.

Fixtures — February 22— Selllck'e speed
meeting. March 1— Affiliated clubs' run.
March 2— General meeting. March IS— Hill
climb.— On February 22 tbe club will be
holding a speed meeting at Selllck'* Beach.
The main event or the day will be a 50
mile handicap for the Blaikloek Cup. Mr.
Bl&lkloclc is one os? the foundation mem
bers, and has always been a staunch sup
porter of the club. Other events to be
decided will be an eight mile and two
mile handicap, besides several novelty
events.— Trophies have been presented by
Mr. R. Blalklock. president, and Mr. L. A.
Elliott, patron. — Members are reminded of
the affiliated dubs' run on March 1. when
they are asked to make a special effort to
be present.

February 24 — Picture night at the dub
rooms. — A good attendance from the Levls
Social Club «~u present at the opening
run of the Ladles' Motor Cycle Club on
Sunday to National Park. Members wish
to congratulate the ladles' c;ub on lt«
successful day. — On Sunday the sealed trial
will be conducted. This Is limited to
members, and up to date the entry list
has been a little disappointing, judging by
members' enthusiasm for this event when
first promoted. The orst man wl'.l leave
the clubrcoms at 9 o'clock, and competi
tors will leave at two-minute Intervals,
but It Is essential that every man be at the
Mart at 9 o'clock. The course laid out
if of a novel nature, and entrants should
! provide themselves with a road map of
the surrounding districts of Adelaide. Any
member not competing in this event Is
asked to lodge his came as control keeper.
The trial will be run In two classes solo
and passenger, and pillion riders and light
1 cars wll'. compete with the sidecars In the
I passenger cla.-«. It Is hoped that tnem
i bers who have not yet entered will do so
i cot later than to-night. New members
awaiting to be nominated to the club are
advised that they must attend the com
mittee meeting on Monday. February 23.

the clubrooms on Tuesday. February 24.

A party of A.J.S. club members spent
the week-end under canvas at Middle
Beach, when crabbing and swimming was
enjoyed. The club tent proved a boon
on this occasion. — On Sunday a cricket
match with the Indian and B.S.A. club
members will be played at Clarendon. All
club members are asked to meet at Wyatt
Motors at 10 o'clock, and are advised that
swimming togs should be taken. — It is
to be regretted that the ambulance officer
(Laurie Inverarlty) has again broken his
collarbone, and will be unable to attend
to his duties for a few weeks.— A general
meeting will be held on Monday night,
and a good attendance of members Is re
quested.
