Folder inscribed "G.D. Delprat Esq. from Broken Hill Proprietry Company". Official document conveying appreciation. Folder also contains various other certificates, booklets and loose papers, including G.D. Delprat's birth certificate and an accompanying letter, genealogical notes etc. (Item 13)

Diaries of G.D.Delprat, 1902-1920 (Item 15)
19 volumes, two for 1909. The diaries are pocket-sized, and contain brief, factual entries for almost every day for these nineteen years, on both business and personal matters. They refer to events at the B.H.P. works, such as the firing of a new kiln or the death of a workman, to the people Delprat has talked with during the day and the topics discussed, and to the people and places he has seen on overseas business trips. He mentions many of the leading figures of the day connected in various ways with heavy industry, including Charles Hoskins, H.V. McKay, Sir George Beeby (Chief Judge of the Arbitration Court) and B.R.Wise (attorney-general and later agent-general for N.S.W.).
