Fix this textJanuary 25th, “ I have now to tell you that on
Fix this textSunday last, January 21st, we had a vfery interesting
Fix this textceremony during the Morning Service, when six Jews
Fix this textcame forward and were admitted into the Church by
Fix this textbaptism. One is an inmate of the House of Industry,
Fix this textfour are at Artouf (one of whom belongs to the House
Fix this textof Industry, one is a Hungarian Jew, two are Russian,
Fix this textfather and son) and the sixth, also a son of the Russian,
Fix this textis in the Boys’ School. I had thought of keeping
Fix this textsome of them back for a little time, but they made
Fix this textso good a confession of faith, had so good a record of
Fix this textconduct, and begged so earnestly for baptism, that
Fix this textI felt I ought not to refuse them. I trust they will
Fix this textprove themselves real believers in the Lord Jesus,

Fix this textEngland with his wife and child on the 24th inst.
