ST. OSWA LD'S Ã‡. of E.

(Rev. Dr. A. .'Morton

4th January, 1954.

Dear Dr. Morton,

The Prime Minister received your

letter of the 14th December, am sure â€™The Queen

will understand how anxious you were to have her

visit St, Oswald's Church during her stay; however,

it was necessary for the Royal Tour Directors to

consider all requests and submit the final programme

to Her Majesty for acceptance.

Mr, Menzies has asked me to thank

you for the Parish Paper containing the Poem written

by your Mother, which puts into words the thoughts

of all loyal Australians.

Yours sincerely.

(L, H. CRAIG)

Private Secretary.

The Rev, Dr. A. W, Morton,
