October. As nave not seen' the television myself,  

have felt most encouraged by your reception of it.  

really do feel that plain speech on  

great number of our current problems is very necessary  

and that we should not be tempted to retreat from the  

real elements which have contributed so powerfully ta  

our history.  

Whatever we may say, we all like word  

of encouragement and am most grateful for yours.
