1) Cheques presented to Kingsford Smith. A cheque presented to C.W.A. Scott - winner of the Melbourne Centenary International Air Race, 1934; 2) Pound note signed by Kingsford Smith and Air Vice Marshall, Sir Sefton Brancher. It was offered as payment for the Southern Cross; 3) Letter to Rt. Hon. R.G. Casey in Washington from Prime Minister R. Menzies sent by the first regular airmail between Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Typescript copy of letter from Casey to Menzies. Copy of message given for the Rt. Hon. Casey to a civic banquet at Ambassador Hotel, Los Angeles, 11 July 1940; 4) Airmail cover and postcard souvenir from the French Antarctic Expedition. Terre Adelie, 1948-1950, plus 1st airmail Australia/New Zealand letters; 5) Damaged envelope from crashed B.C.P.A. plane, near Half Moon Bay, California. Recovered after the accident, 29th Oct. 1953; 6) Letter from J. Chamberlain, to the Rt. Hon. J.A. Lyons on the completion of agreement regarding Empire Air Route, 26th July 1938; 7) Letter to Rt. Hon. John Curtin expressing goodwill from the directors and staff of A.V. Roe and Co. The letter was carried to Australia by Lancaster Bomber, 21st May 1943; 8) Signed menu card (Jean Batten and G.F. Pearce) Luncheon given by the Minister of State for the Commonwealth to Miss Jean Batten, 15th June 1934; 9) Log book of flight of the Southern Cross from Australia to New Zealand and back, 1928.
