A lone Gladys Berejiklian, NSW Premier, at the Martin Place Cenotaph in Sydney to commemorate Anzac Day 2020 and the sacrifices of Australian diggers (soldiers) and WW1 Anzacs. Due to the prevailing COVID-19 coronavirus lockdown restrictions - including social distancing and stay-at-home orders - the normally-packed and popular annual event was attended solely by the NSW Premier, whose speech was then live-streamed into Australian homes.
