shearing stands at TUBBO STATION, 20min west of Narrandera. Tubbo Station was established in 1850. The station then covered 200,000 acres and shore 121,800 sheep annually. Driving past these historic stations these days the country close by the Murrumbidgee River and the old woolsheds have changed dramatically. No longer is this area reserved exclusively for sheep holding paddocks, ram and horse paddocks, but is now set out for irrigation and the Darlington Point Solar Farm.
