Scope and Contents
Collection of photographs documenting people, townships, and mines in rural Western Australia and South Australia. Included are images of the Eyre Highway, a 1,664-kilometre highway linking Western Australia and South Australia via the Nullarbor Plain, the Central Norseman gold mine in Western Australia, Iron Knob mine in South Australia, the Nullarbor Roadhouse, wind turbines at the Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park (PAREP), and the 12th hole at the Nullarbor Links Golf Course, the longest golf course in the world, with 18 holes over 1,365 km of the Eyre Highway in South Australia and Western Australia.

1 item,Lake Bumbunga is a salt lake between the town of Lochiel and the farming locality of Bumbunga, approximately 1.5 hours' drive from Adelaide. The lake's colour is casued by algae and apprears pink. Salt has been mined here since 1881.

1 item,The Nullarbor Links is the world's longest golf course, with 18 holes over 1,365 km of the Eyre Highway in South Australia and Western Australia. The 'Skylab' 12th hole is a 175m Par 3 hole through scrub. It gets its name from the US space station from which debris fell on the area in of 1979 after it disintegrated in the atmosphere.
