June 24, 2023, Port Augusta, South Australia - The Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park (PAREP), a combined wind and solar photovoltaic (PV) hybrid project 8km south east of Port Augusta. When complete, the project is expected to produce 900 gigawatt hours (GWh) yearly. This is enough to power 180,000 households for a year with emissions savings of around 400,000 metric tonnes of CO2 annually.
