Unknown Land was based on selected poems by Rex Ingamells, choreographed by Coralie Hinkley, with music written by John Antill. The collection documents Hinkley's career in contemporary modern dance in Australia, the United States and London as a choreographer, dancer and teacher, providing an insight into the complex and driven nature of Coralie and the themes and influences that ran through her life. Documentation has been included in relation to the Bodenwieser Ballet to contribute to the memory of other company members including her collaborations with Eileen Kramer. Many of the photographs in the collection are of her with other dancers including Eileen Kramer, Mardi Watchorn, Margaret Chapple, Moira Claux, and Keith Bain during performances with the Bodenwieser Ballet. In her latter years she found creative expression through other art forms including with Community Movement Classes, David's Place, and the Sydney Street Choir.
