A letter written to "Joe" by Henry W. Reveley of Perth, Western Australia in 1833, telling of conditions in the colony since his arrival in 1829.
Background
Reveley was born in England and arrived on the Parmelia from Cape Town, June 1829. He was a government engineer of the construction of the first barracks, Government and Fremantle gaol.
