TERRY O'SHEA,

Parramatta

Despite the general fall-away, trade surprise came with the reports of the

business recorded by pictures going out on first release in the suburbs, Warners’

“The House on 56th Street” holding up particularly well, on both the Saturday

and Monday evenings.

YOU'RE TELLING

DEXTER

• • • • •

We're surprised, too at you, for printing that!

That's not NEWS—and we regard 'EVERYONES' as splendid

NEWS-paper. Why, everybody knows that Warner's first-

release-in-the-suburbs-policy is winner —it has been for

weeks, and is getting better and better every week.

And whadaya mean surprise! It might have surprised you,

but it didn't surprise the trade or us, that "THE HOUSE ON

56th STREET" was able to beat test cricket opposition. That's

one of the many reasons why we're going right ahead with "HI

NELLIE" this week, and another great Warner first release hit

Edw. G. Robinson in "DARK HAZARD" next week.

Who's afraid of the big bad test match?

We're not!

Come out and see us sometime during the

next test broadcast.
