Much of this material relates to Leslie's various interests and activities including his involvement with the Australian Teachers Federation, Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA and civil rights campaigns (10 boxes).

Includes correspondence relating to Leslie's work in Tunisia in the 1960s and Palestine in the 1990s, as well as to numerous shorter visits.

Includes letters written by and sent to Leslie.

Papers relating to the Australian Teachers Federation, c.1960s-1990s (File) - Box 5

Comprises notes, publications, campaign material directly or indirectly produced by Leslie during the course of his various terms as organiser (NSW Teachers Federation) and Assistant National Secretary (Australian Teachers Federation). Also includes typed interviews with Leslie relating to his role in the Teachers Federation, the Adult Migrant Education Service, and nuclear disarmament and testing, Leslie's time with the People for Nuclear Disarmament, overseas aid, Middle East politics, and the French Pacific.

Following his work with the Australian Teachers Federation, Leslie worked at APHEDA - the Australian Council of Trade Unions' aid organisation - until his retirement. Includes papers, notes, and publications directly or indirectly produced by Leslie; materials relating to French Pacific Territories and Indochina, some of which predates his involvement with APHEDA; and speeches and correspondence produced during his retirement.

Includes papers, notes, publications directly or indirectly produced by Leslie. The anti-conscription files include substantial records requested from ASIO and the State Special Branches on Leslie's activities.
