Biographical / Historical

Charles William Andrews (1866-1924) recieved a BSc (in Zoology) from London University in 1890; he joined the Geology Department of the British Museum (Natural History) in 1892 and later became Assistant Keeper. He visited Christmas Island on a collecting expedition in 1897-1898, and made a second trip there in 1908. He was part author of A Monograph on Christmas Island BM (NH) 1900.
