How can we help?
Not sure where to start your research? Stuck somewhere along the way? Ask a Librarian. Our librarians are here to provide suggestions, research tips, resources and strategies to all Australians, as well as anyone looking for information relating to Australia or the Library's collections. If we can't help we will recommend someone who can.
To help us find the most relevant answer to your enquiry, please provide as much accurate and concise information as possible. To ensure we can assist everyone asking for our help, we may limit the number of responses we provide to repeat enquiries. We are not able to give advice on legal, financial or health matters and we can't provide answers to assignments and quizzes.
More information is available in our Information and Research Policy.
Before asking your question, feel free to browse our FAQs to see if there's an answer that fits what you're wanting to know.
Online
Fill in our enquiry form with as much information as you can provide about your question to help us find the answer you need. We can spend up to an hour for online enquiries. Most are answered within a week, however complex enquiries or those that need to be referred to specialist areas may take longer.
