Learn more about the fascinating women whose lives and experiences are recorded in Canberra’s collecting institutions. A panel of archivists, librarians and curators will share their passion for this work, revealing some of the intriguing women whose stories can be found within the collections and giving a behind the scenes glimpse of what they do to safeguard these stories.
The panel, chaired by Margy Burn, will include:
- Nicki Mackay-Sim, Curatorial & Collection Research at the National Library
- Kathryn Dan from the ANU Archives
- Jennifer Coombes from the Territory Records Office
- Antoinette Buchanan from the ACT Heritage Library

Women Sharing Stories is a National Foundation for Australian Women event for the Australian Women’s Archives Program. It is presented in partnership with the National Library of Australia and the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival.
