MS Acc12.017 comprises papers reflecting Peter Rose's life as a poet, publisher (with Oxford University Press), public speaker, literary judge and reviewer, and board member of literature-related government and non-government entities, including the Miles Franklin Award, the Victorian Premier's Literary Award for Poetry, the Melbourne Writers' Festival, the Victorian Writers' Centre and Meanjin. They comprise: private and business correspondence; Rose's Commonplace book; signed copies of three of Rose's published works; an unpublished novel and radio play; reviews by Rose and by others (of Rose's books); poetry drafts; festival and radio talk texts; board meeting minutes, reports and correspondence; and sound recordings of book readings, book launch events, and radio programs and interviews.
