ANGLO-TURKISH AGREEMENT.
C0NCTAOTIÑOPLT3, February 9. v
A decree has been issued in Constantinople,
sanctioning the Anglo-Turkish
agreement recently initiated by Sir Edward
Grey, the Secretary of State for
Foreign Affairs, and Hakki Boy, in London.
It is believed the decree refers
to the Bagdad railway, providing that
the line is not to be continued beyond
Basra, the Turkish river port near the
Persian Gulf.
