MR. WLLAM WARE
The funeral of William Ware, who
was killed at the Illalong Creek quar-
ries, was largely attended, the inter-
ment taking place in the Roman
Catholic Cemetery. Rev. Father
Cahill officiated. Returned soldiers
from all parts of the district were in
attendance, and they were followed
by Mr. Ware's workmates from the
quarry and other railway employees.
Inspector Keating represented the
Railway Commissioners. The pall-
bearers at the graveside were Diggers.
They were Messrs. J. Garry, T. Arabin,
A. Cook and A.R. Wallace. Included
in the wreaths were: The Returned
Soldiers of the District, Workmates
of the Illalong Quarry and the Bina-
long branch of the A.L.P.
