natural channels If a person is suffering

PLAtFORM CASES
Cases were then called for treatment.
on the platform and several aged and
middle-age d men and women responded
T<- was no iceable that most of these
limped and hobbled painfully along while
others held hands and arms in cramped
positions; due to the ravages of Rheims

Eared all right to casual onlooker
it these were the persons suffering from
deafness or other troubles not outwardly
visible
The first case treated was that of Mr.
H. Richardson, of Hampden-road, Hobart,
who, for several years past, has been a
sufferer from rheumatism, which had
principally attacked his legs and feet
It was with the greatest difficulty that
this gentleman was able to walk, but,
after the machine had been at work on
him for no more than six or seven minutes,
to his huge (delight, he found that
he could move about with greatest case,
and he declared himself as literally as
rounded at the vast improvement that had
been brought about in such a short time.
Mr. H. L. England, of Sandy Bay, then
underwent treatment for rheumatism and
partial paralysis. Mr. England had very
poor control over his limbs, and experienced
great trouble in propelling himself
about. In his case, however, the "little
Steel Doctor" once again proved its worth,
for it was not many minutes before he
was on his feet, moving about with apparent
ease and he informed the specialists,
and the audience, in no uncertain
terms, how much better he felt.
The audience, by now deeply moved,
were watching with breathless interest
every development on the 'stage, and the
next case was so splendid that they could
no longer restrain their feeling, but were
obliged to burst forth into loud and pro
lC'Uged applause. Mr. Roberts, of Melville-street,
Hobart, has for some time
been a sufferer from rheumatism, and
a while ago was unfortunate enough to
sustain an accident to his 'left shoulder.
This, combined with the rheumatic condition,
left the shoulder so stiff that he
could not raise his arm above his elbow.
The Veedee came to the rescue, however,
and in a short time Mr. Roberts, found
that he could lift his hand right above
his head. It was no wonder that the audience
cheered the great work done by, the
Veedee.
THE CROWD CHEER.
The case,, however, which brought the
vast audience to their feet in a frenzy of
applause was that of Mr. Wilson, of Bell
tery Point, Hobart. Mr. Wilson is an
elderly man, and said that he has been a
victim of sciatica for forty long years. He
walks very painfully, with the aid of two
sticks, and even then cannot get along
with any degree of comfort. The Voice
was requisitioned, and operated for about
ten minutes, after which Mr. Wilton was
able to discard his sticks and walk around
with ease. The patient insisted on telling
the crowd himself that he felt better than
he had done for the last 20 years, and he
left the platform amidst tumultuous
cheering, after shaking each of the
Specialists by the hand in turn.
"If anyone had offered me £1,000 I
could not have done this an hour ago!"
S'J spoke Mr. John Whittaker, of 41 Mac
Evans-street, who was the next sciatica
patient. Mr. Whittakers remark was
induced by the fact that, prior to being
treated, he could only hobble about with
the aid of a stick, whereas, after, he was
at le to trip gaily up and down the platform.
He even went so far as to walk up
and down the few steps leading to the
stage three or four times, so delighted was
he at being able to move around without
support. Once again tumultuous applause
greeted the extraordinary success of this
wonder-working Veedce.
A case of deafness next commanded the;
attention of the Specialists. Master Til
ley, or Kempton, is a sufferer from
catarrhal deafness, and at first could not
understand what was said to him when
shouted at within a few inches of his car
but, after treatment, the Professor was
able to converse with him in an ordinary
tone of voice whilst standing several feet
away.
Miss Blake, of Campbell-street, was
scarcely able to walk, through partial
paralysis, but in her case, too, the needed
brought about a great improvement in A
very short time, and after treatment it
was obvious to all that she was moving
about with much less difficulty.
A number of other patient's were also
treated, but lack of space precludes of
their being reported in detail In the
main, they were cases of deafness, ar-
thrills, paralysis, and rheumatism. In
every one great improvement was shown,
and the patients all declared themselves
as quite satisfied with the effects obtained.
FREE TREATMENT.
The Veedee Specialists have opened
new and luxurious premises in Hobart,
at Stone-buildings, 137 Macquarie-street,
where all sufferers will be treated free
of charge. The use of the Veedee is especially
indicated in all such cases
as Rheumatism, Lumbago, Gout, Ar-
thrills, Deafness, Constipation, Indiges-
tion, Liver and Kidney troubles, Asthma,
Fpmale' troubles and Obstructions, Sciatica,
Insomnia. Neuralgia, Hysteria,
Paralysis, Stiff Limbs and Joints, Nervous
and General Debility and Loss of
Power, And all persons suffering from
any of these troubles should call at the
Vcedee-institute, where they will receive
free treatment and advice. The Veedee
is ideal for self-treatment in the home,
and no one carefully following the direc-
tions printed in the book supplied with
each machine, can fail to get good results.
Moreover, everyone who calls at
the institute can rely on getting an honest,
straightforward opinion as to whether
the Needed will be suitable for their
particular case. The Veedee Specialists
will not sell a medicine where it can do
no good, because they will not bring the
Veedee into disrepute.
" Like every other good thing, however,
the Vedee has a host of imitators. These
would-be Vibrators, Pulsators, or Blood
circulators try to follow where the Vee-
dee has always led, but without any
conspicuous amount of success. They
merely imitate the Veedee in everything
except its power to cure. So no matter
how alluring and attractive may be
the promises nKvde by these imitators,
do not be induced to part with any
money for a Vibrator until you have
at least seen the Veedee and tried it
fire in charge at The Veedee institute.
If you c -not come to the institute, then
send for free booklet, sent post free on
receipt of your name and address.
BUT
come to the institute if you possibly
can, for no amount of description can
ever hope to be one half as convincing as
a trial of the Vecdeo itself.
