ANALYST'S REPORT
Lambton Man's Death
NO POISON FOUND IN BODY
On Saturday, Newcastle police received
a report from Sydney which stated that
no trace of poison had been found in the
stomach of Thomas Cecil Marsh, of Lamb-
ton, whose death had been the subject
of inquiries.
Early on the morning of May 7 Marsh
died suddenly. At the post-mortem
examination it was found that, while
the brain, lungs and other organs were
in normal condition, there were certain
abnormalities in other organs. The detec-
tives, who were investigating the case,
were unable to discover any means by
which Marsh could have taken anything
suggesting poison into his system. The
organs concerned were sent to the Go-
vernment Analyst for examination. All
doubts have now been removed as to the
cause of the man's death.
