Piano Accordion
Club Popular
UNPRECEDENTED enrolments are
being experienced at the Adelaide
Piano Accordion Club, whose classes
for adults and children are proving
very popular. The new methods used
by the club ensure rapid advancement
and members are preparing for film,
stage and radio shows. A new class
starts Tuesday, March 14, at 8. Staff
includes famous English accordionists,
John Pierce and Edward Trigg; radio
entertainers, Les Cookesley and Charles
Rich. Kevin Hockley is in charge of
the Port Adelaide branch of the club.
The club principal has just returned
from Europe with a selection of the
best accordions obtainable. These can
be obtained at special discounts for
members. Enrolments can be made at
Adelaide College of Music, Victoria
Square, any day, or Monday, Wednes
day and Thursday evenings. Port Ade
laide branch is at 111 Commercial
Road and is open each day and even
ing. Special classes are held for chil
dren and for country clients there is a
Music-by-Mail Service. **
