Tho New Hygienic Treatmonb Is Winning all Along the

Tho Sceptical Arc Being Convinced, Sufferers Are Being
Relieved and Cured and Croakers aro Finding Out
that " Facto Are Stubborn Things."
This Is what one of the leading scientific journals says
of Dr. A. WILFORD HALL'S TREATMENT
"With a judicious use of this treatment, rocdicincBnml
doctors' bills are avoided, continued strength and robust
ness are attained and longevity is increased, so that every
man with a sound constitution, who uses this simple bub
scientific remedy, ought to live at least to 100 years of
age."
The object or Dr. A. WILFORD HALL'S TREAT
MENT is to prodnce a tierfcct digestion and assimilation
of the food taken ioto the stomach, so as to build up
tissue ; also to cause a thorough elimination through
tho skin, kidneys and iutestlncs of nil refuse and poison
ous substances, and in this way to prevent all putrefac
tion and fermentation, thua keeping tho body in a healthy,
dean and pure condition, without thetiso ofmodicineof
any kind or description. When this fact is borne in mind.
It Is easy to understand the Apparently miraculous suc
cess of Dr. nail's treatment. It is a simple and harmless
method of aiding nature in her own work.
Medicines of ever? description are discarded for two
reasons— because there is no necessity for them, and be
cause while they may bring aid to nature in one way they
more than destroy their influence by retarding in others.
No drug or medicine is ever taken into the system but
which must be expelled, and thus proves itself an addi
tional rlrnffc upon natural
JOHN HERN has been advocating the tlflc of this
treatment for the last 15 years, and through his advice
nod instruction numbers are living to-day who aro bless-
iog the day that ever they heard of this remedy, and their
unanimous verdict is that it is more precious than
Mrs. HERN, who has bad large experience in tho nsa
of this treatment, especially for female complaints. Is
giving tho whole of her tiinoand attention to the work,
and the . wonderful cures wrought by this treatment
through her advico speak volumes for her skill and know
ledge of the treatment of disease. Ladies can have tho
benefit of her advice, either by letter or personally, at any
time, without any charge,
REMEMBER that Dr. A. WILFORD HALL'S Health
Pamphlet, which contains a full and complete statement
of the only proper mode of combating disease, cat) only

importance of getting the best and the most reliable infor
mation on this great remedy. The old adage is Btlll true

" Mr. JOHN HERN.
Dear Sir,— Seeing that some perrons aro writing In the
paprs that Dr. Hall's treatment wilt bring on constipa
tion, I wish to give It a flat contradiction. I purchased
the treatment in May Inst, and used it up till about a
month ago, and I can truly 'Ante it made no difference to
cither me or my wife in discontinuing the treatment. I
have been a great sufferer all my life with headache, and
hare had sciatica at times very bad, and I can truly say I
have not had the slightest touch of either sinco using tho
remedy or sitiec leaving itoff, and I am willing to givu my
experience either personally or by letter to anyone should
thoy require it. All I have to say to the public Is don't be
led astray by a lot of reports.
Yours truly,
J. A. JUDGE, 450 Lygon-street,
To Mr. JOHN HERN.
Dear Sir,— I may slate that I have found great benefit
from the uso of Dr. Hall's treatment, and it naa done me

Mr. JOHN HERN.
Dear Sir,— I hnvo been a great sufferer with Gastric
Dyspepsia and Liver Complaint for years, as well as
complaints caused by operations, my suffering at times
being great, having often to rise after retiring nnd walk
the room, with spasms and cramps in my stomach.
I purchased one of Dr. Hall's Health Pamphlets front
you about two months ngo, nnd have carefully rnrried
out tho treatment, and now 1 am happy to say that so
far I have received great benefit from it : all the distress
ing symptoms have left, and my general health much
improved. I have gained 5 lb. in weight since using the
treatment, and I firmly believe that with perseverance I
shall be restored to sound health again. I am recom
mending it to all my friends who are suffering.
Very truly yours.

INDIGESTION.
Mr. JOHN HERN.
Dear Sir, —Dr. Hall's treatment is doing such wonders
for mo in curing my indigestion that I really cannot say
enough in praise of it. it has cost me a great amount of
money with doctors, and I never gained such benefit as I
bavc sinco being under your treatment.

Mr. J. HERN.
Dear Sir,— I am very happy to add my humble testi
mony to tho grand nnd noble cure of only one week's

other ailments, and after using this for one week I fed a
new creature, and can highly recommend it to any per

Dear Sir.— 1 have muoli pleasure in testifying to the
benefit I have received from Dr. Wilford Hall's treatment.
Having been a great sufferer for many years from
rneumatism, piles, irritable mauuer, and as one wno nns
studied anatomy, surgery and uhemistry, am convinced
that it will not only benefit those who put It in practice
but generations yet unborn, as it cannot fail to puri'y the
blood and renovato the entire system. And the blood is
the life. I thank God that 1 am rhc possessor of the
, secret.— JAMES HARDIE, Dental Surgeon.
Mr. J. HERN, Agent for Dr. Wilford Hall.
From a merchant and J.P.:—
Sir.— Sitico 1 saw you in Melbourne about three months
ago I have been practising the hygienic treatment, nnd
hnvo derived great benefit. I hnve recommended the
treatment to my friends, several of whom have received
"pamphlets." I have only heard of ono who has com
menced tho treatment, and he only n day or two since,
but. so far, thinks a great deal of it, 1 am persuaded it
will do great things for persons suffering from almost any
disease, if they will but persevere. Homo are talking of
getting a pamphlet 1 writo to as!; you to send mo some
more advertising sheets, with your present address. I do
not wish you to uso my name in print at present, but if

Dear Sir,— I havo a little boy, 6A years old. who has
suffered from fits for tho last &J years. About three

since using it the little fellow has never had a fit nor a
symptom of one. It has acted like magic with him, nnd
I could uob wish for a utronger. healthier child. I shall
only be too pleased to give full information to anyone
requiring it, for it is a terrible ordeal to see a dear little

Mr. J HERN,-
Dear Sir,— I am delighted to give >ny teotimony for
what Dr. Hall's No-Medicine Treatment has done for my
distressed body during the last seven weeks. I have been
a great sufferer for the last eight years from rheumatics
in nil my Dervcs, neuralgia, and constant recurring
serious bilious attacks, with most distressing headaches.
During the last five years 1 hud lost the use of iny anna,
and was almostdrawn double with pain. I suffered con
stantly most torturing agonies of pains all over my lwdy :
God only knows my dreadful bufferings. I placed myself
'in the hands of eight doctors, and for four months was
under one of the best herbalists in Melbouroe. 1 had
tried almost every remedy, nnd taken bucketful of
various drugs and patent medicines. I took Seigel's Syrup
Warner's Safe Cure, four largo bottles of Clements
Tonic, and still I was getting seriously worse, and
thought my end was near: but for my loved
ones I would have been glnd to have died. May
God bless Mr. Ilobbs, of this city, for calling and tell-
ling mo what wouders Dr. Hall's new euro had done
for him In a few days! Seven wenks ago, when I pro
cured Dr. Hall's Health Pamphlet from you, I was
? letting rapidly worse, and had lost all hnpo of being
fetter. My husband ana I were astonished at the won
derful new discovery disclosed in the book. 1 at once
determined to give over everything else and give it a fair
trial. I havecnrefully curried out the directions, which
are easy and simple ; and now what it has done for mo is
most marvellous. I cannot find words to express all tho
praises it deserves. From helplessness, seven weeks ago,
1 am up at a quarter to 6 every morning doing tny house
hold duties. I am really almost like a new creature. I
used to be kept awake night after nieht with pain. Now
tny night's rest is enjoyable. My biliousness, sick head
ache and neuralgia have for ever gone ; the store people
and neighbors are amazed to sec nic out tripping about in
the morning and looking so well. 1 would not give up the
use of Dr. Hall's treatmeut for all the money in the
world. My statement can be corroborated by several
storekeepers in Nicholson-street
Very truly yours,

Mr. HERN, Dr. Hall's Agent. , _ ,
Dear Sir,— I have been a sufferer thirty
years from bile and bilious headaches, and have tried
almost everything and obtained no relief, all the doctors
treatments having failed. I began to think I sliouldncver
be bettor. I was advised to try Dr. Hall's Hygienic Cure
and the result is marvellous. Mine being a very serious
ease, having suffered so long. 1 bad to be very careful.
But now I feel twenty yearn younger than when I com
menced the treatment. I have applied it threo times a
week for the first two months, and twice a week since,
aod am now as free from nil signs of biliousness as
though I had never been troubled with it. It is with the
greatest gratitude I express my thankfulness for tho

# The age of medicinal discoveries and their preparations
is only in its infancy. In preparing reinodleH for human
consumption those who make thia business a study should
bear in mind that the preparation of herbal medicines re
quires more consideration than any other remedies do, as
tho quantities nrnl combination required should lie care
fully weighed and added ut a proper time; and that above
all things In these preparations no one should add any
injurious matter, not even If they concluded that by
adding any injurious matter u cure contd be
more speedily effected. It is far better to Icavo it out
than in any way to injure tho patient, oven If it should
take longer to effect a euro. This has always b-«n my
aim In preparing iny renunlicn for nny complaint what
ever. In alt preparations niy patient could subsist nu
thrni, as they strengthen tho whole systoin, uot like many
other modes of curing, which reduco the stamina both of
tho body and tho mind Is it not a well known fact
that to-day many who are now suffering, and
who can only walk by the assistance of a
stick, from so-called "rheumatics," which havo been
caused front injurious medicines tnkon years before,
which had settled in thpir joints ; and on catching colli,
then the injurious matter shows itself by swellings in tho
joints nnd by causing pains in various parts 01 tho body,
and especially before changeable weather, like the mer
cury in the glass when ft commences to rise and full In
turn. If any sufferer would take the trouble to watch
the mercury in the glass he would lenm when his pains
increase and abate. Tho change of weather has the Mine
effect on rheumatism as it has on mercury iu a glass
tube. Mentlplay's remedies, token under any circum
stances, are always safe, even for tho youngest infant or
the most aged person. Mentlplay's Liver and Kidney
Rills should bo taken a few weeks before the summer
commenccR. For instance, any per-on who has taken
Montiplny'fl mild operative pills, which move tho bowels
without t no slightest pain or In any way destroying their
coating, will toko no other after they nave tasted their
value, as they keep tho colon clear and strengthen
it. It has been stated thai medicines will
soon bo at nn end— well, it just appears to mo to be the
opposite, and that After any water euro has been in nsc
by injecting for a time the system becomes weak : and I
venture to state that I have heard more complaints
ngalusb it than nny other treatment I havo ever heard of
in my life. Never mind the puff. Does not the Rihlo
tell us that herbs mul roots aro for tho healing of tho
nations. That shows what our great Provider meant—
ouly Deleaves us to find out thohstcombhmtfonnnd tho
proper way of preparing it, like any other thing :
anu I also further venture to state that Mont-
play's treatment has cured morn discuses sue-
ccEsnuiy innn nny nincr system uuuer trie sun, ami
the many important and unquestionable testimonials
which I hold respecting the never failing efilcacyand
miraculous cures I hnvo effected Is sufficient to
convince tho most srepticul. It is a well known
fact that the majority of discuses in warm
climates ninv bo traced to a derangement of
the liver and kidneys. Mentiplay's renowned Liver
und Kidney Pills, taken alternately, aro the only
reliable cure. Tiic following remedies are equally relf-
able:— Mentipl&y's "Worm Syrup, Mcutiplay's Hydatids
Specific, Mentiplny's Cough Syrup, Mentipluy'a Nerve
Tonic nnd Kidney Pills for males And females,
Mcntiplay'8 Blood Elixir, Montlplay's Botanic Lotion for
varicose veins, dlseuse of tho eye, insanity, diphtheria,
tape and othor worms, piles, scurvy or had logs, eczema,
jaundice, catarrh of the head. Bright' disease, ringworm
nnd itch, nnd all other disecj>cs. It is thus evident that
I have struck one in the right direction, nnd nerved 10
elucidate the cause of many Ills that flesh is liuir to
which have proriouoly been unknown. All advice gratis
—yet the gratuitous advice will be found more valuable
thau that for which expensive fees have been paid.

Sir,— I beg to tender yon my sincercst thanks for
tho wonderful cure you performed on my child. The said
child when about 11 months old contracted a cold, which
turned to bronchitis, and afterwards to double pneu
monia, nnd ho was for weeks lying at death's door. Then,
worst of all, he got that dreaded disease, marasmus, from
which so muttv children nine away anil die. He gradually
wasted away, till at last ho got so small nnd frail that we
thought every day would be his last, nud for the last, few
week's before taking him to you wo just managed to keep
him alive on weak brandy and water. During the whole
of this time the child had the attendance nnd advice of
some of the liest doctors In the colony, for which I paid a
good sum of money. As a last resource I was induced to
take the child to you, with tho gratifying result that In
less than oue week under your treatment he had started
to improve, and within ono month was thoroughly cured
by using two boxes of your liver aud kidney pills, for
which I paid you only 5s. I should have sent you this
Borne few months ngo, but was nnxioun to find out if your
cure was permanent, and I am glad to Inform you it is,
for he is running about now a flue healthy little fellow.
Wishing every success,

Doar Sir,— It may bo of somo benefit to you to know
that I have been in the habit of using pills for some years,
during which time I have taken many kinds which I now
consider to hnvo been too severe on the system, and when
you recommended me to try your mild operative pills I
expected them to lie like all the others; but to in y agreeable
surprise 1 found they caused no pain, tmtneted as mild as
you said they would, aud I do not readily become costive,
nor docs any froiing of lassitude ensue after their use. 1
will therefore have much pleasure in recommending to
anyone who may require such pills as the best I ever took,
and with tho greatest benefit, as mild operative pills.—
