sented with the ball with - which he took nine
wickets In the final of the Nandaly Cricket
Association .against Mlttyack. In addition, uc

Btawel! all-round cricketer, who has received
an invitation to play with a Melbourne elub
next year, has ouido five . centuries this sea
son — 100 retired. 127 not out, 103 not out,

The Essendon cricket team, which- had . ar
ranged to visit Stawell and play a match
against the local association on Good Fridny,
will not- now. come to -fitawoll. Negotiations
are in progress for another team to visit,
Stawell.
