Green — Gabell Wedding
T)ELICATELY tinted peach blossom in
shades of pink will decorate St.
Aloysius Church, Balaclava Road, Caul-
field, this evening for the marriage of
Miss Norma Gwendolyn Gabell, third
aaugnier or ivir tinct ivirs n. w . vjaucii,
of Eltham, Payne Street, Caulfield, to
Mr John Joseph Green, LL.B., eldest
son of Mrs Green and the late Captain
Green, of Melbourne. The Rev. J. Cleary
will officiate.
The bride will be a charming figure m
a gown of parchment colored satin cut
with a deep pin-tucked yoke, and skirt
falling in graceful folds to the ground.
The sleeves are a novel feature of the
dress, puffed at the shoulder line and
tightly fitting from above the elbow to
the wrist. A short veil of billowy cream
tulle and a bouquet of cream tulips and
freezias will complete her bridal toilette.
Two bridesmaids will follow the
bride, ' her sisters, the Misses Dorothy
and Melita Gabell, who will be dressed
in graceful frocks of floral georgette in
shades of primrose and blue respec
tively. Twisted velvet to tone will
swathe the waistline, and the dresses
will bo set off with matching velvet
toques, giving the halo effect, and bou-
quest of daffodils and cornflowers.
Mr John Raymond Brew and Mr
Thomas Green, brother of the bride
groom, will act as best man and grooms
man.

flag will decorate the Rondo Cafe,
Swanston Street, this evening, where
members of the New Zealand Associa
tion will hold a dinner to celebrate
Dominion Day.
