OVERCROWDED RANKS
OF LAWYERS
2 i Admissions Today
"With tho ranks of tho legal profes
sion already overcrowded, large num
bers of young men and women, fresh
from the University, continue to claim
admission. Today 20 men and one
woman wero admitted by tho State
Full Court. Tn March, 21 men and
ono woman were admitted.
Most of these new lawyers will
have to bo content with positions as
clerks in solicitors' offices. A few
havo fathers with legal practices, and
some, with sufficient financial back
ing, will go to tho Bar. Tho big
work at the Bar, however, is in the
hands of a very small number of men.
