LAUNCH SUNK AT
FAIRLIGHT
SYDNEY, Monday.
A disabled 25ft. launch was
blown by high winds on to rocks
and overturned and sunk at Fair-
light, Manly to-night.
The owner refused to give his
identity or to disclose any de-
tails of the wrecked launch. .
It is believed that water got
into a part of the vessel's engine
and put it out of action.
The launch drifted in a strong
sea before a strong southerly
blew it on to rocks.
Those on board, including the
owner, were able to reach shore.
The owner later made a search
and recovered the launch's mast.
