ROSEWALL WINS IN
PARIS PARIS,
Wednesday.
Australian tennis champion,
Ken Rosewall, was un-
troubled to beat French Davis
Cup team vice-captain,
Christian Boussus 6/1, 6/1,
0/1, in the first round of the
French singles championship
yesterday.
Rain delayed the start of
the championships for three
hours, but there were no
major upsets.
Rosewall, No. 3 in the
seedings, was the only Australian
to play yesterday.
Seixas (U.S.), seeded No.
5, also made the second
round, without being extended.
