HOBART STATE HIGH SCHOOL
The wreckage of the Quantas airplane, Hermes, in which Captain Charles Scott and George Nutson, mechanic, crashed on a lonely hilltop on the Mount Lofty Ranges, 14 miles from Adelaide. Owing to the large increaso in the number of pupils, the provision of four extra classrooms was necessary, and these have just been completed. Each room is 24ft, x 22ft. Tho number of pupils at' present in attendance is 530, and the additional accommoda- tion will enable another 160 pupils to !>e enrolled. The contractor was Mr. H. W. Pease, and the contract price for the additions was £2,162. Help
