The fielding trophy to be presented Dy
Charmtng's Sports Depot was won by A.
a. Riches, of 3t. Bartholomew B. who re
ceived 10 votes In 10 matches. A. Jones,
of Hlndmarsh Congregational, received 9
votes.
The best batting average in A grade was
obtained by K. C. Hosting, of Manthorpe
Memorial. He ratted eight times, once
not out, for 324 runs, average 46.28. C.
Puckett. of Prospect North Methodist, who
took 25 wickets for 208 runs (average 8.32),
gained the bowling honors lor A grade.
Charlie Hodgetts. ol Norwood C. of C
again made the highest aggregate runs,
his figures being 896 runs, average 63.23.
His highest score was 269 runs.
D. Smith, of Franklin Street Mission A.
with 66 wickets for 493 runs (average 7.46).
obtained the aggregate wickets for the as
sociation. C. G. Bishop, of All Souls',
with 65 wickets for 699 runs, was a close
second.
NARRACOORTE DEFEAT TATIARA
Cricket teams representing the Narra
coorte and Tatlara Associations met at
Narracoorte. the game resulting in a win
for Narracoorte
The home team batted first and made

The visiting team were entertained at
luncheon at the Commercial Hotel by Mr.
A. S. Kidman, uresident of the Narracoorte
Association, who welcomed the Tatlara
team Messrs. S. H. Thredgold (secre
tary) and J Ryan re?tx>nded.
