BENNETT. — On the 26th August, of hydatid on
the liver, at Ruby Villa, Goodwood, N. W. O.
Bennett, late of H.M.C.S., and son of Thomas
Bennett, Payneham-road, aged 32 years. Deeply
regretted bv his surviving relatives
BONNIN.— On the 8th September, at Nalpa, of
convulsions, Alice May, the infant daughter of
Josiah and Catherine Bonnin, aged thirteen days.
BRADY.— On the 20th August, at the Burra Hos-
pital, Thomas, the beloved husband of Elizabeth
Ann Brady, of Mount Bryan East, aged 46 years.
He leaves a widow and nine children to mourn their
loss. His end was peace.
BRAY. — Of your charity pray for the repose of
the soul of Honora, the beloved wife of James Bray,
and eldest daughter of Dennis Dwyer, formerly of
Rossmore, Tipperary, who died at Port Elliot on
the 19th August of phthisis. May her soul rest in
peace.
CLARK.— On the 11th September, at his resi-
dence, Unley, John Clark, aged 64 years.
DONALDSON.— On the 29th August, Christenia,
relict of the late James Donaldson, Sunny Brae
Farm, Blumberg, aged 62. A colonist of 44 years.
EDGCUMBE.— On the 3rd September, at Draden-
street, Ovingham, William Edgcumbe, aged 71 years,
formerly of North Cornwall. A colonist of 25 years.
EDWARDS.— On the 9th September, Thomas
Jones Edwards, of Dunedin, New Zealand, only
brother of Ellis Edwards, of this city, aged 45 years.
FISK. — On board the barque Helen White, as
chief officer, Harry Adolphus Fisk, the beloved
husband of Elizabeth Fisk, and also son-in-law of
Samuel Turner. Leaves a wife and one child to

dence of her brother-in-law, Mr. J. F. Key, Finniss
street, N.A., Maggie Wilson, the beloved wife of
Arthur Fordham, of Freeling.

Cottage, Strathalbyn, Ann Gollan, relict of John
Gollan, of Hughtown, Beauly, Inverness-shire,
Scotland.
GOWENLOCK.— On the 14th August, at the resi-
dence of his son-in-law, J. A. Wall, Oxford-street,
Sydney, Robert James Gowenlock, late of Adelaide
and Woolwich, aged 70 years.
GRAHAM.— On the 30th August, at Childers
street, North Adelaide, Agnes, fourth daughter of
the late James Graham, of O'Halloran Hill.
HAILES.— On the 24th August, Oak Farm, Gum-
bowie, of inflammation of the lungs and kidneys,
also dropsy, Ruth Ann, the youngest and dearly
beloved daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Hailes,
aged 13 months. A lovely bud to bloom in Heaven.
HAYLEY.— On the 7th September, at his resi-
dence, Seventh-street, Bowden, Richard Hayley,
tanner, aged 63 years ; a colonist of many years.
Deeply regretted by a large circle of friends.
HILL.-On the 26th August, at London, Jabez
Joshua, third son of Henry and S. Hill, North
terrace, aged 24 years.
HOLDSWORTH. — On the 4th September, of
chronic bronchitis, Sarah, the beloved wife of
Robert Holdsworth, sen., of Payneham, aged 66
years.
HOOD.- On the 8th September, at the National
Bank, Wallaroo, Henry Francis Duval, the son of
Henry James and Lucy Alice Rose Hood, aged
fifteen months.
HOSKIN.— Supposed lost at sea, Captain Charles
Edward Hoskin, of the barque Helen White, and
also the wife of the above, Emma Grace Turner,
second beloved daughter of Samuel Turner, Church
street, Port Adelaide.
HONAN.— On the 2nd September, at Paratoo,
Ellen, daughter of Michael and Margaret Honan,
aged 12 years. R.I.P.
HUTSON. — On the 8th September, at his resi-
dence, Grote-street, William Edward Hutson, vete-
rinary surgeon, only son of the late A. H. Hutson,
V.S., aged 31 years.
JOYCE.— On the 10th September, at South-
terrace, Adelaide, John Charteris Joyce, youngest
son of Dr. John F. and Mary Joyce, aged three
years and ten months.
KESTEL.— On the 6th September, at Church
street, Port Adelaide, Charles Wheatly, the
youngest and beloved son of Frederick and Mary
Jane Kestel, aged four months.
LANE. - On the 5th September, at his father's
residence, Campbelltown, James Alfred, eldest and
dearly beloved son of William and R. Lane, after a
short but painful illness, aged sixteen years and
nine months. His end was peace.
LAWTON.— At his residence, Waymouth Cottage,
Bowden, Thomas W. Lawton, in his 70th year. A
colonist of thirty-two years.
LITCHFIELD.-On the 4th September, suddenly,
of heart disease, William James, third surviving son
of the late Captain C. W. Litchfield, Inspector of
the Adelaide Metropolitan Force, aged 44 years.
McCULLOCH.— On the 1st September, at her
parents' residence, Brown-street, Elizabeth McCul-
loch, aged 9 years.
PALMER.— On the 8th September, at Kapunda,
William Thomas Palmer, currier, aged 26 years.

William Sharrad, sen., of Yankalilla, in her 65th
year.
SKINNER.-On the 21st July, at Warrnambool,
of paralysis, Susanna, relict of the late William
Skinner, of Malling, Kent, England, and beloved
mother of Mrs. Harslett, of Burnside, in the 87th

Augustus, son of the late Captain Tapp, of Bermuda,
and nephew of the late General T. Tapp.

of Alfred George Tomlin, Norwood, aged 8 years.

second danghter of John Dunstan, late of Yan-
kalilla, aged 33 years, leaving four young children
to mourn their loss.

residence, William Frederick Adolphus Wyatt,
