AFGHAN SKIRT

Materials: Villawool Speediknit: 4
balls white. 7 balls black. 15 balls brown;
Nos. 9 and 10 Aero crochet hooks; elastic
£in. wide for waist.

Measurements: To fit 35-36in. hips;
length. 24in.

(Adjust length as desired by working
9 more or 9 less motifs at hemline on
No. 9 hook.)

Tension: 1 motif to measure 3in.

With white make 5 ch., join into ring
with sl-st.

TO FINISH OFF

At lower edge fold halves up to wrong
side and slip-stitch neatly. Join elastic,
and slip under before sewing top halves
down as casing. Lightly press work on

collar pieces to neck edge. Thread
about 4 rows of shirring elastic on wrong
