W. S. Rymill, who won the Close
Championship of South Australia with
rounds of 71 and 72 at Kooyonga on
Saturday, is the first amateur to hold
the title. He played brilliant goli over
the 36 holes.

Rufus Stewart, who was runner-up missed,
holing his tee shot at the third by inches I
only. He was hitting the ball consistently and !
was out in 37 and home in the same figure. i
In the afternoon he made s brilliant start.
!He holed a 15-footer for a 3 at the first, had a
I birdie 4 at the second, and sank & 10-footer,

4 under 4's. but a 5 at this hole took him out
in 33. He was short in two st the 10th and
