November 4, when the club will visit
Mundaring Weir." From there a trio
will be made to the fire look-out of the
Forestry Department on Mount Gun
gin, from which a magnificent view of
the ranges can be obtained. Lun'*
be partaken of on Mount Gunjin
after which the party will be conduct-
ed over a good road to the plantations
of pine in the Helena and Darkan
, River valleys at the back of the weir,
j Forestry work in the jarrah forest w'il
! also be inspected en route. Members
are urged to roll up in force, and avail
themselves of this opportunity to visit
places not ordinarily available to the
general public. As there will be a
good deal to see and much ground to
cover, a start must be made from Mort-
lock^ not later than 10.45 ajn. Late
comers must follow on if they wish *o
join the main party
