GINGER ROGERS' RETURN TO
MUSICAL COMEDY
Will Co-Star With Bing
Ginger Rogers is planning a come-back to her old
"oomph" parts, according to the latest Hollywood cobles.
Rumor has it that she and Bing
jCrosby will co-star in a new lav-
ish musical comedy, with lyrics
by Irving- Berling.
It is expected that production
will commence early in 1945.
Ginger left the leg-and-dance
movie world to do straight acting,
and is at present making "Week-
end at the Waldorf."
Her versatility was demonstra-
ted by the success she scored af-
ter going from dancing roles to4
dramatic and light comedy parts.
Her return to musical comedy
should enrich her film reputation.
