The votes cast during the football
season for the medals awarded to as
sociation players were counted at a
meeting of the Football Association last
night. The count resulted: —
Magarey Medal (for fairest and most
brilliant player) — A. Kialough (West
Torrens), 18; D. Carlos (Glenelg) and
B Codd (West Adelaide), each 15.
Carr Medal -for best all-round
player) — G. Kersley (West Torrens). 3;
W. Scott (Glenelg), R. Codd -We5t

McLean (Norwood), and G. Goldfinch
(North Adelade), each 2.
Nitschke Medal (for best loaower) —

Semi-Finals On Saturday
It was decided that the semi-Baals should
be played on the following grounds on Satur
day:—
Alberton Oval — West Torrens v. North Ade
laide.
Prospect Oval — GleneJB v. Norwood.
The Norwood acd Unley Ovals were beU
for the final and grand final on Seowmbir
34 and 21 respectively.
Attracting Motorists (Hobart).— In
pursuance of Tasmania's policy of at
tracting tourists, the Hobart Ms^in**
Board yesterday decided that motor
cars belonging to tourists who are
travelling in Tasmania solely for plea
sure will in future be admitted to tbe
port free of wharfage rates. Hobart
is the only port in the State wMch
provides such a concession.
