The proprietor has tried Sheep on it, and found them
to thrive well.
There is a new Two-roomed Hut, capital Well of
Water, that last summer watered 3,000 sheep and is
capable of watering 6,000, and splendid set of Troughs,
Yards, &c., complete.
The proprietor would strongly recommend both runs
to be bought by one purchaser, bat if sold separately the
flock of 1,500 wethers previously mentioned will go with
this ran.

a the Port Lincoln District, as now occupied by Messrs.
Cadby Brothers. This valuable Property comprises
about 141 square miles of good grassy country, abun
lantly supplied with water by Sleaford Mere, Fishery
3reek, and other permanent Surface Springs,
and Wells of moderate depth. It is most
advantageously situated, the homestead being
within fifteen miles of Port Lincoln Township,
and seven miles only from the shipping place (Port
Lincoln proper, at which place a section of purchased
and will be given in with the Run) ; thus possessing
special advantages both as a station and as a resi
dence. It will be sold with the Stock now depasturing
hereon, viz. : —

view to supply the vacancy caused by the amalgamation
of that journal with its Adelaide contemporary.
The proprietors of the Tanunda Deutsche Zeitung
having been induced to re-enter the literary arena at
the earnest solicitation of their former subscribers, would
respectfully invite the attention of advertisers to the
fact that owing to very moderate amount of subscrip
tion and other causes, their lists are even now being
filled with unexampled rapidity, and that the
prospective circulation of tbe new paper will be o
such extent as to render it a most desirable me
dium for the diffusion of business and other notices
amongst the German population of the Australian
colonies. Quarterly subscription, prepaid, two shillings
and sixpence, or tbree shillings if booked ; or ten and
twelve shillings respectively per annum. The^charge
for advertisements will be one shilling for the first three
lines, and threepence for each succeeding line, with
large discounts for repeated insertions.

accepted, and the lowest or any tender will not neces
sarily be accepted.
Tenders will be received until the 19th of September.

NORTHERN LINE.
The Public aTe respectfully informed that on Sunday
next, the 30th instant, a Passenger Train will leave
Kapunda at 8 a.m. for Adelaide and all Stations on the
North Line, returning from Adelaide at 4.30 p.m. ; and
that on the fo lowing Sunday, the 6th September, the
train will leave Adelaide at 8 a.m. for Kapunda and all
Stations on the Norta Line, returning from Kapunda
at 4.30 p.m., and so on alternately one Sunday from
Adelaide and Kapunda until further notice.

or Occupiers of Purchased Land in the District
of Nairne will, on application to the undersigned be
granted licences to DEPASTURE CATTLE on the
Waste Lands within the district at the rate of 6 large
or 36 small head of cattle for every 80 acres so occupied
by them, on. payment of the fee of Is. 6d. per head for
large cattle, and small in proportion. No transfer of
right of run will be entertained.
This notice is in place of that which appeared in the
weekly papers of 18th July last.

PPAHA WIRBA DISTRICT.— In pursuance of
the Roads Amendment Act, 1861, we, the Com
missioners of Hoads for the District of Para Wirra,
hereby give notice that we propose, at a meeting to be
held for that putpose in our office, at Maidstone, the
thirty-first day of October, 1863, at the boar of two
o'clock, to irake an order for the opening of about
seventy-six chains of new road, one chain wide, through
Sections 6092, 6120, and 6121, in tbe Hundred of Para
Wirra, County of Adelaide, and to close and exchange
about eighty-four chains of old roads in said Hundred,
as firstly and secondly hereinafter generally described :
Firstly— The centre of the proposed new road com
mences on the western boundary of the Mam North
East Road, at a point about 1430 links south-east of the
north-west corner of Section 6121, bears in a northerly
direction, and terminates on the western boundary of f
the road intersecting Section 6092, and at a point about
1825 links south-east of the north-west corner of said
Section 6092; a-d the centre of a branch of the said
proposed new road commences on the western boundary
thereof, at a point about twenty chains from the said
north-west corner of Section 6092, bears in a north
westerly direction, and terminates at a point about
fifty-eight links south-west of the south corner of Sec
tion 1042 : Secondly — The centra of the first of the old
roads to be discontinued commences at a point about
930 links south of the north-west corner of Section
6121, and runs in a north-easterly direction to a
point about twelve chains east of the south-west corner
of Section 6120 ; and the centra of the second of
the old roads to be discontinued commences at
a point about 670 links south-east of the north-west
corner of Section 6121, runs in a northerly direction to
a point aboat 1,875 links south-east of the north-west
corner of the said Section 6092, excepting
a portion intersected by the proposed new road :
The owners, and agents of owners, and occu
piers (so far as known), of which several Sections or por
tions of Sections affected by this notice are mentioned
in the schedule below : And we have caused a survey
map and also a book of reference to be deposited with the
Surveyor-General, at Adelaide, containing, so far as
known, the several particulars required by the said
Act ; and we hereby require all persons, within forty
days of the first publication of this notice, to deliver to
us, or our Clerk, hi writing, any objections to such
making and opening the said intended road, or the
closing and disposing of tbe said old road.
