A FIGHTING FAMILY.
Mrs. Joseph Massey, of Naremburn, who
has given three of her sons to the Empire,
has received information that Ronald Mas-
sey has been awarded the Military Medal,
and has been promoted to be sergeant. Ser
geant Ronald Massey left for the front
shortly after the outbreak. of the war, and
when last heard from he was in the Officers'
Training School at Oxford. Another son,
Trevor Massey, who has seen a good deal of
fighting on the Western front, was badly
wounded, and was lately 'in the Birmingham
Hospital. A third son, Leonard Massey, for-
merly a member of St. Andrew's Cathedral
Choir,-and who left Sydney with one of the
first units, was killed in action at Gallipoli.
Mr. Joseph Massey, organist of St. Andrew's
Cathedral. Sydney is a brother of Mr. T. IT.
Massey, of Lismore.
