    An unusual accident occurred on the Racecourse-road, Hamilton, on Saturday afternoon, when an inbound tramear, of the combination type, left the lines and crashed into a shop on the side of the road, near Beatrice-terrace. The tram, which was a race special, had just left the terminus, when, it is thought, some obstruction on the line caused it to leave the rail.
