    THE ARTISTS' BALL: A GAY AND BRILLIANT SCENE By common consent, the Artists' Masquerade Ball which was held at the Sydney Town Hall on Monday night, with the object of endowing the pottery industry in which a number of disabled soldiers are engaged, was the most spectacular event of the kind ever held in the city. The body of the hall was thronged by young and old in all k[?]s of fancy dress, and the galleries were crowded with delighted spectators.
