    This gallant youth is the son of Mr. Arthur Moon, an inspector in the service of the National Bank of Australia, Melbourne. He was born at Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, in 1894, and was educated at the Kyneton Grammar School, enlisting as a private soon after the outbreak of war. The deed which gained him the Victoria Cross is thus officially described:— "For most conspicuous bravery during an attack on an enemy strong point. Lieut. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
